Got a huge order of wings and were ready within ten minutes. I was attended well, chicken was good. Good experience!
Stopped here to pick up dinner for the family. I must say since moving to the area, I've frequented this location several times so far. The food continue to be consistent. I always order chicken wings, fried hard with mild sauce. I appreciate the fact that they also sell mild sauce by the cup so you can purchase extra. My grandma has had their fried perch and catfish and have enjoyed both. I don't eat seafood so I just take her word for it. It can be busy in here so ordering ahead would be s good idea. Customer service is ok. I haven't had a bad experience but not a great experience either. They do their job. No muss. No fuss. I have no complaints about it. I think this place is a good alternative to Harold's or Uncle Remus. Notice I said alternative...not replacement!
Whenever I have a taste for some fried Catfish with lemon pepper I always come and get it from this location. I have tried other Captain Hook's and it wasn't my cup of tea. In the beginning I was a bit hesitate coming to this location but so far, it's been cool. This place is always packed with people especially on Sunday's. You can call ahead and place your order so you don't have to wait long. It is located in a strip mall over in the corner next to T-Mobile. One lady that works there seems to always have a tad bit of an attitude but the other one is very welcoming and friendly. They are pretty fast with your order depending on what you order or if you want your chicken or fish fried good and crispy. My Catfish is always cooked fresh and crispy to perfection. The fries are a bit dry tasting and too hard. The prices are reasonable for a quick meal on the go. They even have a $5.00 special menu which isn't bad for the amount of food. There are even 2 small Flat Screen T.V's locate on each side to watch while waiting on your food. There is never a dull moment in this place waiting on your food to be cooked. There is even a guy seating at one of the tables selling DVD movies and Music CD's.
